Shopped out for three bids for a home inspection. I live 1,000 away from new property, and needed a very thorough inspection as a condition of sale for a new vacation home we were buying . Mark's estimate was on the high side of the three I had received . The other two did not sound as knowledgeable when I questioned them about what do they do for a Wind Mitigation Report that others seemed reluctant to preform . This report is crucial if you own a home on a hurricane zone and want coverage for complete or partial destruction due to high winds and rain . Because the other inspectors had appointment conflicts , I asked Mark if he would work with me as I found him to be the most knowledgeable over the phone . Upon inspection , Mark could not get access to the interior roof area to take needed pictures of how the roof was tied to the rest of the dwelling . Working with the HOA we were able to get him access to this space via another unit so that he could complete his inspection . He did so at no extra travel time or charge. In summary , he is a man of his word and takes great pride in his work .
